Just moved to the area and was yelping for a nail salon. Decided to try Herbal Nails because it's walking distance from my home. I called to schedule an appointment and was able to get one in 15 minutes!
AMBIANCE:
- Relaxed atmosphere and very clean!
- Had HGTV....Yay! It was nice to watch one of my favorite channels while getting nails done!
- No chemical smells from acrylic nail process which was a huge plus for me because I don't care for strong fumes!
SERVICE:
- MANI: Katie did my mani. I decided to try the SNS gel manicure which is suppose to better for your nails according to some research I did online. It is more, but is worth it because it's healthier for my nails. I went for the natural pink (#5) which turned out really nice! I wish it was more pink but I still like it. I started out with #40 but didn't care for the color because it was too peachy. Katie was so kind to let me change the color and did not have an attitude like some other techs do when you change your mind. I was very impressed. She patiently removed the first color and started over!! Customer service is huge to me so I am very impressed with this visit!
Note: SNS colors are different then gel (Shellac). The color on the samples look completely different when it's on actual nails. I may try it again but if color is still not consistent, I may go back to Shellac.
- PEDI: Lee was my tech. He was very quiet which didn't bother me. Sometimes I prefer that over someone who asks a million questions! Lol! I normally don't care for male techs but I was so impressed with him! I've been to many salons in CA and a few in AZ so trust me when I tell you that Lee is awesome!! He gave the BEST calves/feet massage I've ever had!! Hands down!!
I would highly recommend you try Herbal Nails! This is my new home nail salon! So thrilled because I can walk there from my house!! Woohoo!! :)
