  • I love Thai Thamarind. I think it's the best thai food in Pittsburgh-yes beating out Nicky's. The food gets 5 stars, easily-fresh ingredients, spiced as requested, and very flavorful. (The one-star reduction is because sometimes I'll call, wanting to place an order for takeout, and no one picks up. I don't know if they are ignoring the phone or if their hours aren't actually accurate or consistent, but it's happened a few times.) It's too good to give up on, but I am sad the times I have to end up eating somewhere else.
