This was my first time here. I had tried a few times for lunch but never was able to get a table.
A client took us here for dinner. We sat in the back room and it was empty. We had the entire back room to ourselves. I did like being so close to the kitchen.
We started with the fried alligator. It was good and would have again.
I had the jambalaya. It came out steaming hot that I could barely eat it. It had a nice variety of seafood in it. It had two large scallops, a few grilled shrimp, a few pieces of chicken and a good red sauce that had a little heat.
I nearly finished the entire plate.
Nice to try a new place and really liked the new place.
Service was fast and friendly with some southern charm.
