| - I have always been a fan of Whole Foods. They offer a ton of unique items that the big grocery stores do not always offer. Plenty of fresh goods, fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, fish, beef, pork, lamb, chicken, spices, breads, pastries, baked goods...etc. This store is quite large, yet it is always clean and the shelves are always stocked.
The also have a small area for your coffee and beer needs. A nicely stocked walk-in fridge awaits you to select your own 6-pack or 22 ounce bombers. The selection is quite diverse offering dozens of styles and breweries. There is something for anybody in there.
The staff here is always tremendously friendly and willing to help out. We were buying several pounds of mussels today and the woman waiting on us took the time to explain the best ways to identify fresh mussels. She had picked 3 lbs of mussels for us, ensuring we had fresh mussels and not dead ones. That kind of service is always appreciated.
The place is always super busy and crowded however the checkout lines seem to move really quickly. Each person working the checkout is fast, efficient and super friendly.
Whole Foods is much pricier than other grocery stores, but the freshness in products is unbeatable in my opinion. Definitely a great place to shop.
