I don't know why this shop doesn't get more respect. The food is great, particularly the sauce. I've had pizza, calzones and now a chicken parmesan sandwich from this shop. It looks like they have expanded their offerings to compete with other Italian style fuller menu restaurants around town. I went in yesterday because I was craving their sauce. I don't know what they put in it but it is so savory and delicious. Its like getting a warm hug from somebody's Italian grandma. I asked for a side of sauce and the cashier looked at me like I had two heads. The cook overheard and came out to correct me. He says, "You mean gravy?" I was like, "yeah, can I purchase a side of gravy?" Crisis diverted. I work in the area and would love if they did a soup of the day in the fall and winter months.
I was even able to order my food via Yelp and the Eat24 software so when I got there, I had already paid for it. I like the decor, you feel like you are in an old school Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, it's not normally crowded but the wall pictures are very interesting and reason to linger.
