| - I have never left a review before, I never found anything so amazing or so horrible as that I would wish to share my experience, this place screwed me over enough that I feel it important to share for any who are considering one of their "free getaways" or purchasing one of the time shares.
My story begins in November, "pay 199 now and you get a vacation at your chouce of resort." I thought it might be a scam, but I figured worst case I lose 200 bucks and have to get a new card number and I could live with that. In April I decided to cash in during my significant other's break in May. They asked how much I made, I told them the truth and they booked our stay in Las Vegas.
Personally, I am not a huge fan of Vegas or the premise of time-shares, but it was supposedly very nearly free as long as we attended their seminar thing and I could enjoy Vegas with that in mind. So I arrive in Vegas, check into my room and enjoy an evening on the town. This morning I woke up early to go to their presentation.
I arrive at the presentarion early and go to check in. I give them all the same information as before, but they seem to have trouble believing that I could technically be retired if I so wished, but that I am instead pursuing my M.D. So I explain my income and they tell me that because it isn't taxable, it doesn't count and I don't qualify for the deal. So because my income comes mostly from having been injured in the military, thay decide to take away their offer.
So they charge me full retail value for a room I could have booked at half price myself, they won't let me cancel the rest of my stay and are going to charge me whether I stay or not. There are a near infunite number of places I could have gone besides Vegas, but I came here because of their offer. They stated there was nothing they could do, which I am pretty sure is utter B.S., they just didn't want to do anything.
It was never explained that it had to be taxable income so they screwed me and my other, who are both veterans, completely over. Not only are they unjust, but they are just plain un-American.
