  • I,ve been living at Las Palmas Apartments for 4 years and the company decided to sell the property to a new corporation around 1 year ago, 3 months ago they decided to change the AC units in the building, our coolers or water running is a main piece for the whole building since day number 1 they changed the units my 2 AC units in my apartment STOPPED WORKING with many excuses every visit to the office: Next week will start running same excuse for over a month They put the wrong units Is the water pipe lines that are getting changed The Chillers on the main motor are not turn on AC unit has nothing to do with the chillers We tried going in your apartment and the key don,t work We did the key duplication wrong Emailed me, AC technicians completed the work. I was there and they said they will check it next week, so no fixed was made and they Email they completed Finally they admitted to have an issue with the company that sold them the units for wrong installations and AC Company wanted to charge them to come fix the units on every unit while they have their issues because Building did not want to pay more we are here with no AC. All this excuses and Manager Mercy have not step in to testify or verify what was going on. I Emailed everything and got replies back from Mercy saying they will work on it or will send technicians and never fixed anything yet. I sent her pics of showing my indoor temperature over 85 to 90 I called SNHD to review and report they said they can only testify in a paper what the investigated but they can't fight for me. 4 days later they close my case with out notice me, Las Palmas Manager sent a paper saying they fixed the issue I work Monday thru Friday office ours from 8am to 5:30pm, so my only resource was Google and call many city numbers already disconected. I reed that I could hold the rent if AC units not fixed by notifying the Apartment Management 5 days before. I did that this past 1st of the month to call their attention to come and fix in 5 days or I will hold the rent AND NOW IM GETTING EVICTED BY THIS TUESDAY  and AC units still not working. they rather get over me than fix my issue. I own a service dog and every time I go to work at 7:30am indoor temperatures are 81 degrees, I cant imagine when is noon to 4pm when the heat is at max is been times that is at 93degrees and sometimes I take my service dog to my job to be fresh.
