Disappointing, but not as bad as some have experienced.
Ordered a (considerable) arrangement over the weekend to be delivered on 2/14 in the evening. The order wasn't charged or approved until the next day, same time that Tiger Lily sent a marketing email indicating that they're open. So someone obviously had to look at this order and decide if they could do it before they took payment (which is appreciated). When the order was approved, I was expecting everything to go as planned. I've used them in the past for delivery and the service/quality was perfect.
My requested delivery between 6pm and 10pm, happened around noon. Now, I get that it's their busiest day of the year, but 6-10 hours early? What would have happened if the delivery address (business downtown) wasn't even open? At least the people who accepted it were honest enough to hold it for the extra 6 hours before the intended recipient got there - 90% of the people in this town would have just taken it home for their own valentine.
Adding insult to injury, the overall arrangement did not look as good as they advertised it. The lilies were sealed shut and still haven't even opened yet (almost 24 hours since it was delivered). If I knew that was the case, I could have saved the extra $30 and skipped them. Although the roses looked a little sad too, about the same quality that I could have gotten from the grocery store for 1/8th the price.
I'll look elsewhere next time.
