I am a massage snob, thanks to the wreck of nerves in my shoulders. Nothing but the best relieves the pain, IF that. I have had Thai massages in Thailand, Ayurvedic massages in India, Korean rubs, swedish massages and hot stone therapies - none gave me relief the way Chad's massage did.
He knows what he's talking about, and yes, he is chatty which worked great for me because I did not go there for a fancy schmancy relaxation massage. I wanted relief and chatting up helped him understand my pain points and the nerd in me enjoyed the super technical details about the human muscular and nervous system. The feeling of joy when I realised there was someone else in this world who knew exactly where it hurts was euphoric. I walked in with a migriaine and sore shoulders and walked out literally pain free sixty minutes later. Icing on the cake - the effect lasted for over three weeks. (My shoulders usually cave in after a week, at best).
A massage from Chad is better than a session of hot yoga, a massage and a whole day at the spa put together. I cannot wait to go back for my next one. Saving my pennies for this, for sure.
