I must admit upfront that I have passed by this place weekly, oblivious to the fact that it was a furniture consignment store. That changed recently when my two teenage daughters and I had some extra exploring time and decided to stop in. Quite frankly, I was impressed.
It is laid out much like a regular furniture store with a main aisle going almost around the perimeter. All of the merchandise appears to be in almost new condition and it's priced, as you would expect, a deep discount.
Anyone who has ever tried to sell used furniture knows too well that it is one of the most highly and quickly depreciable products that we purchase. Don't believe me? Check out Craigslist, garage sales and or estate sales where 80% off of new prices is the norm. Selling on consignment basis offers an attractive alternative to both the buyer and the seller. This store is a great place to start!
