  • A true Charlotte staple! My bf works for a blues music agency in the city, so coming here often is a pre-requisite for us. This venue has been around forever and you can really tell....it's oozing with history from the pictures on the walls to the original bar. There is always something going on at the Double Door, every night of the week and many, many famous faces have graced their stage including slow hand himself, Eric Clapton. The bartenders are friendly, will gladly serve you PBR in a can, and may even ring the bell up front for a good tip. Oh and you can buy scratchers tickets at the bar if you are bored with the band. :)
