| - Where do I even begin? If I could, I would give this place 0 stars. The severe lack of service and communication I received and am still receiving from this excuse for a mechanic is unfathomable.
I took my car in a couple weeks ago for an oil change. I knew there could be some additional things that need done so I was completely prepared for that. Lo and behold the manager calls me and tells me I need new tires, plugs, coils, thermostat, and fuel system cleaned. After quoting me a ridiculously high price I asked that they ONLY complete the plugs, coil, and oil change. Of course, they added on the thermostat as well. This tells me they either did not listen to me or did not care. Either way, strike 1 of many.
When I dropped my car off I expressed to them it MUST be done that day as I needed it for work. Well they close at 8 so I figured no problem since I dropped it off at 11am. No phone call from them after the initial assessment at 2pm. When I called them at 6pm for status I was told they were waiting on 1 part for the thermostat (which I did not request) and that once it was received it would be 5 minutes and done. Fast forward to 7:45pm and no call. I call them back and was told the part did not arrive and it would not be done. I expressed my frustration with the process thus far and was told it WILL be done by 8am when I had to leave for work. SURPRISE....it was not done. I had to get a ride to work and was told my car would be delivered to me at work. Against my better judgment I agreed to this. This part that should take 5 minutes once received took over 5 hours. Once again I call for status and was told they were on their way. fast forward 2 more hours and they have not arrived. I work in tempe, not far. Come to find out the mechanic drove my car to another shop to do who knows what and pick up someone then deliver my car to me. Not happy about that at all and then I get in my car and they leave their empty pop cans/garbage in my car. By this time I'm fuming.
Later that night the manager blows up my phone to get paid of course. He keeps asking for my CC info to pay him but never bothers to tell me the total or breakdown or how I'm going to get a receipt. He also states he is going to talk to his District manager regarding the experience I had and get back with me the next day regarding some sort of compensation (shockingly this was never done and I never received a call). Finally I get the total from him and reluctantly pay it with the promise he will email me a receipt. Here we are over a week later, 3 phone calls to the store, and 3 emails to corporate and still have no receipt!
Next step is to visit the store, yet again, for a receipt and I believe additional recourse is in order. I honestly have NEVER received such terrible service in my life. The sad part is I have taken my car here before when the old manager was there and received phenomenal service. I thought I had found a mechanic I could trust and that would take care of my car and myself. I was certainly wrong. It seems the corporate office doesn't even care about their customers. Take your car here at your own risk. You have been warned.
