  • Once you buy your dress, this place is ridiculously and horribly managed. If you are trying to avoid wedding stress as a bride, I suggest you get everything in writing and prepare your emotional spend on micromanaging the promises made on delivery on your dress. I purchased my dress in September. They promised delivery by mid-January as normal delivery. I called them to see how much a rush would be and when the dress would come in December and no one called me back. Since I live in San Francisco, I wanted to see if I could get the dress earlier while I was visiting family during the holidays, but that didn't happen. Then the kicker - I called in December to confirm that my dress would be ready by the promised time of mid-January and they told me that it would be a rush but they would waive the fee. They acted like they were doing me a favor by giving me normal delivery that they promised when I paid them in full. A couple people apologized here and there that there was no real management back in September and now there's a new manager, but I was doubtful. Then comes January. I pick up the dress and they ask why I didn't make an appointment (the store was empty). I told them the manager that I spoke with in December never suggested an appointment to pick up the dress. They didn't steam the dress or veil when I tried it on since I didn't make an appointment since the manager on the phone didn't tell me to set one even though I told her I was coming in January a few days after delivery. I loved the actual dress a lot. However, once I got it altered, they promised they would cover shipping to CA and ship it themselves. But then they didn't have the box on hand. They said they would have the UPS guy pack and ship a wedding dress for them (they were not going to package it as the experts and didn't see the problem with that). That was the last straw - I told them to steam the dress and get it prepared so I can hand-carry it on the plane back to SF. They said they had no one to steam the dress on a Saturday so I picked it up Monday morning. The manager also told me that I could put the dress in the "captain's closet" but apparently she has never flown Southwest (I told her I didn't think there was one but she kept insisting). If you're ok with inefficiencies and lies, but want a beautiful and reasonably-priced dress, then come here. Completely unnecessary wedding stress.
