  • Burger and Beer special: $10: great! Try the sliders. Bangers and (not mashed) for breakfast: good. Chicken and Waffles: Good. $4 Breakfast: perfect for kids! (one pancake, one sausage, one bacon, one egg) You have to ask for it. It's not on the menu. Wicked Vicky French Toast: Good way to get syrup on everything! Service was slow at all times. Some of this had to be the kitchen because our food was always an appropriate temperature, but ordering and getting drinks was pretty slow. The tavern was busy, but not crushed each time we ate there (three times). Waitstaff didn't even bother with a greeting a couple of the times. On our last visit (for the burger special), the waitress was very nice. Ok for kids for meals. Sounds like they have over 21 for music and other acts. Final: if you are staying at the Riv and need food, this is decent food at a decent price. If you want someone to be pleasant and give you some hand holding for service, you should probably go somewhere else. If you are in a hurry, you should probably go somewhere else.
