  • We stayed here for a dance competition for four days. I travel for at least 2-3 times a month for business. Not an expert at hotels, but have stayed in enough to know what is "good" and "not-so-good." Here is the good, the bad and the ugly.... If you like your room not ready for check-in until 6pm, the front desk then charging you $20 more per night than you booked and breakfast room service not ever showing up ...then this is the place for you! After the breakfast never showed up, I called down to speak to a mgr. I spoke with Dino who was very helpful. He offered a $50 credit. I thought that was very fair. Unfortunately, we had several issues after this as well. And, you guessed it...the $50 credit never made it to our bill either. Other "misses:" -20-30 minute line at the lobby Starbucks every morning. Way understaffed each morning at both of their locations. -Really high "resort fees." We had two rooms. One for me and my wife, the other for my daughter. They charged a $27 "resort fee" X 2 rooms, each day. 4 days = $216 in "resort fees." -Valet never answered the phone...ever. I know why when we got down there. Way short staffed, -Tried to check out via the TV and the system was down. I go downstairs and the line to check out was over an hour long. We ended up leaving and calling the hotel to check out. -Took 20 minutes to get our car out of valet. When it is 110 degrees outside, this really seems like a long time! -Poor overall value...we spent $4,300 in 4 days. We ate every meal on property, visited the spa, pool cabana...the works and were left with the overall feeling of "meh." This place is so not worth that type of dough. Some good points: -The spa was excellent. Great treatments. -TBones was good as well. Nice staff, good food. -Mallory at Concierge was very helpful in getting us a sedan to the Strip. Look, this resort "looks" like a nice place. It is a great concept, but misses the mark on delivering any level of customer service or top notch experience. So much potential, but no execution. It simply feels like every aspect of this place is mismanaged, understaffed and in chaos. Did I mentioned understaffed?? Unfortunately, our group had several issues while staying here. I would not recommend this hotel. Vegas has way too many other great places (especially for the $) to stay rather than "rolling the dice" with the Red Rock Resort.
