I'm struggling to decide between 2 or 3 stars. This restaurant seems to be having an identity crises. The staff is formal, the table and wall decorations are Asian, and the music is casual and pop. The food focuses way too much on trying to be novel in appearance and doesn't seem to focus enough on flavor.
We ordered the 12 course dinner tasting menu and most were very average in flavor but two that were beet based were actually gross. The first few courses were rushed and our server kept trying to hurry us and then the last few we were forgotten about. It took almost an hour to get one of the dishes. We had 2 servers during the course of our dinner. The first was very friendly even if rushing us but the second server who was bald was extremely rude and condescending. We had questions about wine pairing and he was extremely curt and abrupt. Although he seemed much friendlier to the French speaking patrons.
Overall I would not recommend this place. Staff is rude, food is average, and it's overpriced for the experience you receive.
