  • 06.17.2014 While waiting for our laundry to wash at the local laundromat we ate here for a late breakfast. Hubby and I split the Sage Chicken & Waffles. Seasoning and taste of the chicken was good--breaded and fried well, moist chicken breast. ***My only CON is I wish the waffles were a cooked longer/made a little crispier. I'll have to ask for that if there's a next time. O had the kid's Bacon Waffle which was bigger than her head--they use a 4-square waffle iron! She only finished one square which is probably a typical kid size serving. She started "digging for gold"=bacon when I stopped her. Hahaha! H had the kid's Griddled Meatloaf served with mashed potatoes. The meatloaf obviously was precooked and just fried up on the grill to get it warm on the inside and crisp on the outside. It was very dense and average tasting, she claims my meatloaf tastes better. The mashed potatoes were seasoned well and had good flavor. Not just a starchy scoop of potatoes. Talk about ginormous portions--Leftovers galore to take home for lunch or a snack!
