Just visiting Madison on a business trip, but this place made me want to stay. The gentleman (who I'm assuming is the owner) was extremely helpful in explaining the menu and making suggestions. He was also very encouraging at my attempts at spanish (it has been a few years!) and invited me to come back to practice. The food was absolutely delicious. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu. I had the tostones (fried plantain chips) and the Cachapa con Queso y Cochino Frito, which was a giant corn pancake stuffed with cheese and served with the most crispy delicate pork. I also had the tamarind juice which was refreshing and not overly sweet. I will definitely be back!
