| - Just got home from my appointment at this salon.
Let me just say this, we women are notoriously picky when it comes to our hair, and I, being a typical woman am always wary when trying out a new salon. Fortunately, there was nothing to fear.
I arrived at the salon, photo in hand of the look I was aiming for, about 10 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment, fully expecting to have to wait. However, luckily enough my stylist was able to see me right away, so yay for that.
Once I was seated I showed her the picture I'd brought with me and asked her if it would be possible for her to re-create that look for me. She smiled and said "no problem at all"...YES!!!
An hour and fifteen minutes later (pretty good time wise for highlights and cut), I'm out of the chair and admiring her handiwork. She (Aisha) did an amazing job. I found out that she's been styling hair for about 20 years so needless to say, chick knows her stuff.
Now one would think that if I walked out of a salon looking exactly like the photo I brought (though sadly she couldn't make me look EXACTLY like Heidi Klum, I mean she's a hairstylist, not a miracle worker), that I would be giving this salon 5 stars...not so fast.
The only issue I have, and it's not a small one, is that throughout the time she was highlighting and cutting my hair, she must have responded to half a dozen text messages and had to step away twice to answer calls on her cellphone...who knows, maybe there was a family emergency or something, but common courtesy would dictate that she would at least apologize or ask if I minded.
Despite this, I would and will return. I love my hair.
