We were traveling and needed a hotel as we have children and it was about 10:00pm. We got off the highway as we saw this Americas Best and thought it would be alright as it was just for a night and have had a good previous experience years ago with this chain. My husband was able to get the room for about $95 and I figured we were getting a good deal as we were all tired and at least they had continental breakfast in the morning. Goodness was I wrong. The room was alright. It had a television and the beds were comfortable. However the bath tub filled with water when my husband tried to take a shower. We called down to the front desk and the man said he could bring a screw driver in the morning. We were not even offered to switch rooms and we were only staying the night. We all didn't get a bath or shower due to the bath tub being non functional. The electricity went on and off in our room all night so the air conditioner would stop and start randomly every 10 minutes. Not a very good nights sleep. That morning we went down to check out and grab a quick bite to eat at the continental breakfast and it was nothing more then disappointing. Frozen waffles in ziploc bags, oatmeal packets with no hot water, few yogurt cups, stale english muffins with cream cheese packets floating in water, and cold cereal. My husband asked to speak to a manager about the issues with our room, but the man at the desk said he'd have the owner call us later. We received a phone call hours later in which they refunded us $15 for our stay. Go an exit up from this stop and pay a bit more at a better chain.
