| - My response to your feedback
Your statement is a farce and I should not entertain your conflict. However, the truth must be told.
It is outrageous that you begin your response with an outright lie. The men who showed up at my house arrived hours apart and unless you have video tape proof, you have a lot of nerve to make such an accusation to state otherwise. Oh yeah and I have video footage to support my position. Don't believe me? Go look at the video cameras at the home! You have the address & can see 3 video cameras! Like I stated in my initial review, the first person who showed up, Gary is literally doing most of the work. Cameras don't lie.
Second, who put you in command of determining my moving time? You determined all on your own? Guess what? Our decision about where the dresser was to be moved was clearly identified. It also took two days later and after multiple attempts to complain that it was moved. It was my judgement that I needed 3 movers, and agreed when I hired by phone but you unilaterally vetoed that until 4 hours into the move there was an additional person added. Now it is your determination that your company is honest, well I disagree, you did not send me 3 movers per agreement and the 4-6 hour move turned into 11 hours. Your company ignored my phone calls and did not reply to my emails until after I filed a complaint with the bank! Be glad I agreed to pay the $210! As the bank representative informed me that the service was not completed when I moved! DO NOT TRY TO USE PRIOR GOOD REVIEWS TO VALIDATE YOUR POSITION. that does not factor into my decision as it obviously did not factor into your decision about not having your manager contacting me, or providing the 3 movers in the beginning, and you need to improve on your customer service. I have very strong concerns about future victims who could suffer from exploitation from your company and that is why I took the time to bother with a review & response.
BEWARE!! EXPENSIVE! The first negative review I've had to write- long but you need to know reality!! Watch out for the unexpected expenses that you will endure with this company! I was quoted over the phone that my move would be approximately four hours long and no more than six hours. I was downsizing and moving into a furnished home. I just took a queen size bed , dresser kitchen table, coffee table and end tables and the rest were boxes. I requested 3 men as I wanted to have the move complete faster and have the man power. This job ended up being 11 hours long!! Yes you read correctly eleven hours ! Oh yeah they charge by the hour! The first person arrived at the house also known as the team leader, Gary. He started working right away! The second guy showed up an hour later and really did not help the other mover. 4 hours later a third guy showed up to assist. Honestly , Gary was the one who was wrapping up everything and carrying out things. Now the company literally tells you this ...Our pricing is very simple we have two separate fees, our one time truck fee and our hourly rate. The truck fee includes everything. Up to four dozen blankets, tie down, rope, ratchet straps, a roll of plastic wrap, dolleys, tools to disassemble and reassemble. Gas and milage is also included. It is $85 for us to bring out our truck and $85 per hour. We have a two hour minimum, so for the first two hours it is $255 any additional hours after that would only be $85 an hour or $42.50 every half hour. We have no additional fees except moving a piano other than that no hidden fees and no taxes. We don't need any kind of deposit. We take care of payment after the job is done you can pay any form of debit or credit there is a $5 transaction fee for any card purchases. Or you can just pay the guys cash.... Ok now there's hidden fees because obviously I did not have 11 hours worth of stuff to move...however, it was really just one guy who was doing all the moving So perhaps that is why it took 11 hours ! I reached my maximum amount to withdraw so much cash from the ATM, that I wanted to make sure I left a tip. I explained this to the owner over the phone and so I ended up having to pay a partial amount of $200. As I wanted to give a decent tip / for the entire morning day and night of moving. So the movers would get $300. After paying almost $1800 in moving- another hidden fee appears! So when I went upstairs I noticed the marble dresser was in the middle of the room. I contacted the owner & sent pictures and said this should not be here, and its hazard to get into my bed. The owner blew me off!
