| - Ironically, my visit to the Ballroom had nothing to do with bowling. Ballroom actually consists of 2 floors - the first floor consists of the expected bowling lanes, and the second floor features tables with waiter service, a bar, and a space for live music/a dance floor on certain evenings.
Some friends and I visited on a Friday night to hang out, have a meal, and to enjoy some great music. The evening we visited was definitely a hit - there was a live band on our particular visit, and they were FANTASTIC. They were called "Wing Night the Band" (they specialize in doing covers of 90's R&B/hip hop, and they were AMAZING!). We loved the band, the place had a great vibe, and the crowd was mostly a mix of young professionals and students. Very laid-back, but not too rowdy. We loved it.
Prices for the food are what you would expect from the location, but they weren't too overly priced. I ordered the Cheeseburger Poutine, and it was greasy yet pretty good. They had a good selection of drinks, and service was actually very quick and efficient - drinks and bills were brought over in a timely manner.
Overall, we experienced a casual bar with a fun crowd and great music. We really enjoyed our experience here - next time, we may actually bowl. ;)
