After trying for over two hours, three separate phone calls, I was finally able to purchase five gift cards for $100 each.( could anything be any simpler than a gift card?) I finally reached a supervisor who was not located in the Philippines, were they outsource to people who have a remedial knowledge of English and even less understanding, to simply purchase five $100 gift cards and have them sent for Christmas.
I was calling from California and the cost of the call was probably half the price of a gift card. After my third call I finally reached someone in customer service. I was hardly extended an apology, let alone any attempt to try to make it up. I asked for some acknowledgment to be sent to the gift card recipient's for all the trouble. Perhaps a token extra five dollars that would've paid for my phone calls on one of the cards; but, was told that's not Hudsons Bay policy.
I can ashore Hudsons Bay that my policy is next year and in the future, at all times, I will choose anyone other than Hudson's Bay Company. I strongly recommend using other retailers who will value your business and your time for more than this shoddy retailer!
