I cannot describe my love for tapioca in words. But its something about the texture/chewiness. Flavoured tapioca made in house. Thats the attraction right there. Stopped by on a saturday afternoon and the wait was LONG. Not that there was a lot of people in front of me, but it took forever (and i understood why after experiencing it). Since it was my first time visiting, i asked for recommendations and whats their special/ feature. And she simply said "everything's good". Well thats very helpful, thank you. So i took a look at the sign right next to the cashier where it says popular drink and today's tapioca. A little overwhelming and dont reli know how it works. So i asked for the taro tapioca milk tea and she said they were out of purple tapioca, so what now? I thot i had to choose a completely different drink but apparently i could just choose a different tapioca. So confused at that point and i didnt wna hold up the line any longer, i was like yea sure. But thats probably why the wait is so long!
What i end up getting:
Onezo tapioca milk tea
Taro milk tea with sesame tapioca
Onezo tapioca consisted of three flavours(sorry, i forgot which ones) but since they were all blended together and the flavours weren't distinct enough it tasted like nothing.
Taro milk tea is the powered one which im not a big fan of. Sesame tapioca was new to me! Love the creative flavour, but not so much the texture. Kinda tasted like overcooked tapioca when its loosing it shape and becoming super soft. Chewy is key! And i think it came up to $8 for a cup of bbt, thats on the pricier end compared to other bbt places and almost a meal?! Lol
