  • I came to this clinic for a matricectomy. Doctor Levine did the procedure on both feet, and at the beginning, everything went well. He told me that I would be back on my feet the next day. I went home, and the next day I woke up with nerve pain in my left foot, where the matricectomy was preformed. I figured that it was just normal recovery, so I waited a few days. During this time, I was not able to walk, and I thought that it might have been normal. I soon realized, that because my right foot was completely fine, that this was not normal. I called for help or for advice as I was limping and in a lot of pain. The first time, I did not receive a call back. I am an out of state college student, and I was home for break for the procedure so I was not able to go back to see him. I simply just wanted to know if this was normal or not. I waited two more days, and never received a call back. This was not okay with me anymore, so I called back. They did not try to figure out what was wrong, and said "Go see a doctor" and hung up the phone. This was terrible, and this is why I am upset. I just wanted advice on what to do. I went to go see another podiatrist in Connecticut, and she was extremely helpful. She was great, and explained to me that the anesthetic that was injected was too close to the nerve and that it was irritated, and it may take up to a month to get better. All I wanted was an answer from Dr. Levine about what was going on, and I never got that. I am extremely upset, and I recommend against anyone from going here. I don't mind paying for services that I receive but you can tell this Dr. only cares about the money when he couldn't care less about what happens after a procedure where he absolutely screwed up.
