| - I have not been to Landmark in a few years, so I was excited to come back and try it again. As luck would have it, I even got to go twice in the same weekend.
FOOD
I think the menu is too extensive and really wish they would cut it down. If you have never been to the Landmark before, it can be a challenge choosing what to get. I had a Greek chicken dish the first night and the pizza burger. Both tasted great, and the pizza burger was definitely unique.I tried the chocolate cake and key lime pie for dessert. Both were excellent.
PRICE
The prices are fair. Expect to pay $10-ish for dinner and around $3-$5 for dessert.
SERVICE
The first night that I went the service was a tad slow, but other than that, it was fine. Our server was very friendly and seemed to really enjoy his job. Had I not gone back to Landmark, I might have ended my review wondering why people complained so much about Landmark's service. The second night the service was just...strange. My friend ordered some soup and chicken strips, and our server promptly asked if he had eaten the chicken strips before. He stated he had and liked them, to which the server exclaimed how nasty they are. Sorry, lady, but that's not something you tell a customer when the customer has said he enjoys them. The server then brought my friend's soup out and immediately exclaimed how plain and gross soup is and how she does not eat soup. This didn't end here, though. When I ordered my dessert, I had the joy (that's sarcasm) of hearing our server talk about how she hates dessert. I asked her what she likes and she just responded "food". Ya, I would never have guessed that human beings actually like food.
Well, I'll be back and would certainly recommend Landmark, but they need to hire some additional servers and do a better job at interviewing and selecting servers.
