  • I would pick Phoenix over a chain coffeehouse any day, but compared other independent cafes in the area, I honestly find it just average. The espresso is perhaps a bit too darkly roasted for my taste and the cappuccino is fine but nothing special. The ambience here isn't bad, but it's pretty standard for an independent cafe with people on laptops and indie-rock playing in the background, and nothing stands out. I like that they offer free wifi, the staff is friendly, and I love to support local businesses, which is are the main reasons I come back here. But if I want a location that is unique, this is not my first choice.
