  • I cannot find the right words to describe the appreciation I feel for Dr. Alexis, but I will say her guidance, kindness, and warmth helped me make the tremendously difficult decision to allow my best friend to pass with dignity. If you're reading this and have any doubts about in-home euthanasia, don't. My dog was not a fan of going to the vet, and in his final years routine visits would make him visibly anxious. Luckily, his final interaction with a Vet was in our home with Dr. Alexis where he was both visibly happy to meet a new friend and calm throughout the procedure. In all honesty, between the time of scheduling the appointment and the actual visit I was filled with anxiety; but, bearing this "weight" to give Bear the opportunity to pass in peace is something I would choose to do again. Thank you Dr. Alexis, I am not sure I could have moved forward with the procedure without your guidance.
