  • DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We reserved a room from a Friday to Saturday recently. When walking into the hotel I could tell it was very outdated and it had a strange smell. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and we checked in ( not that I had a choice because I had booked and already paid for it on hotels.com). Check in was fine, we went to the room and right when we walked in we could tell this was a horrible decision. The room was dark, seedy, and smelled very bad. It almost smelled like mold? We tried to get comfortable but lasted about 20 minutes which is when I started to see bugs running around the room. YES I'm serious. We immediately left the room, went to the front desk and told the girl there what just happened and if we can just get a refund and before we could get our full request out she very rudely told us 'NO, we don't give refunds and we have several people that ask so if we do that for everyone that wouldn't? be fair!!!!". My jaw dropped and we walked out of that hotel, NEVER will we stay at a Fairfield inn again and I have cautioned all family and friends not to. I wanted to write this review in hopes of customers looking before they book so they won't be out the money. The positive reviews this place has are either from a long time ago OR they are fake reviews. Please use caution, this place really is disgusting.
