There are a lot of hotel options in Old town, but we picked this place because it was very close to our wedding venue. The room had orange walls, which I didn't think much about until the next day when the makeup artist came. She mentioned that it was very difficult to do her job because the color coming off the walls! ack! nevertheless, she did a great job.
Bed: reasonable, I've slept on better. A little bit of a dip towards the middle. Sheets were nice quality.
Bathroom: does not look to have been renovated any time recently. It looks like a restroom from the early 1990s.
Carpet does not look new. The a/c was very loud, but it actually was helpful because you could hear other guests quite easily as well as outside people walking and talking in the Civic Center. The room does have a small fridge, as well as a safe.
I would really rate this as a 2 star, considering that you have to pay for Wifi (pet peeve) and parking (another pet peeve), except for the service. The valet jumped my car for me the following day, and was very very nice.
