  • I am happy I was introduced to this spot back when I was in college. I was in the city working on a project for class one day, and the front office lady mentioned the salads at Mahoney's being excellent so we decided to stop in for lunch. I will say that each time I come here I get the steak salad that is made with filet mignon. Let me add that the steak salad is probably one of the cheapest steak salads around; it's only $9.75. The steak melts in your mouth with flavor, the ranch is homemade and the country style sliced potatoes are the major selling points for me. I can't speak for any of the other menu items, but if you are looking for a good salad for lunch make sure to check this place out.
