It's not your run of the mill Italian eatery. Forget the bread with dipping oil/spices or butter...instead you get house made giardiniera. It's unfortunate other restaurants don't offer it, but their half portions are ideal for the rich sauces and soon-to-be-all-homemade pastas. Their meatballs are nothing short of amazing. More importantly, don't forget it's BYOB. The wait staff is well versed with the menu and super attentive. Worth visiting.
