  • these guys are awesome! i've used them twice now and they were GREAT both times. i opt'd for the flat rate since i have heard so many stories about people getting ripped off by other moving companies with hourly rates. flat rate gives you a set number of boxes, furniture pieces, stairs willing to climb, and miles to go. anything over that is extra but the original amount is pretty fair (it covered moving from a split-level apartment to a 2nd story apartment). both times, the guys were great, quick, and efficient. the quoted price was the final price. there were no surprises. if you're wondering if they're gentle/careful, i had the same set of ikea furniture (dresser, dressing table, futon, lack side tables, small bookcases) moved by them twice and it survived both moves spectacularly. i even ended up selling those pieces for a good chunk of change later on craigslist. FYI: they're cash only. no credit cards.
