Went here because my aunt (who is usually picky about beauty services) said she had a good experience here and the price for mani and pedi were not too expensive.
It felt like a family run nail shop which I never mind (cause support local). As long as I can walk out with pretty nails and good service I'm usually satisfied. However, when I was walking in they had someone's young daughter come to greet me and like one of the first things she asks me is if I'm pregnant?! Like is the jacket I'm wearing looking too puffy or something? Lol. Anyways, I was thrown off by that and kind of thought this was a weird impression to give customers coming into your business.
I decided to continue despite this, but once in the chair I would hear a children's show playing in the background. Sorry but I came to relax not to listen to a kids shows blasting in the background. Kind of annoying. TV in front of the chairs was not really working either so I couldn't drown out the noise and had to look at the gold fish tank out of sheer boredom. Wifi not really strong or working too.
Despite these issues, I would give them a higher rating if my nail experience had been good. Yet, the person who was doing my pedi was clearly new. She did a more deep massage on my legs which was nice but I flinched a few times cause she kept cutting too close to the nail bed and she did not scrub feet that well. Despite me asking her multiple times. She then was watching the senior nail technician who did my nails. The senior nail technician is older and clearly more experienced. If you decide to go, I would request her.
Overall, lacklustre experience and not too professional. My search for a good nail salon continues...
