| - How can you not be a fan of buy one, get one free pizza night? It happens on Tuesday, and it works best if you come with a large group so you can eat your way through every pizza on the menu. Otherwise, the true joy of bogo is lost. The pizzas average $14/piece.
The pizza here is definitely about the combination of toppings, not the crust. The crust is thin and becomes a bit soggy when holding the saucier, heavier combinations; however, overall, there are some solid pizza flavors. The highlights: goat cheese, walnuts, balsamic, arugula (I have recently realized I pretty much just love balsamic.); tostada (Yes, with beans and avocado and a mountain of iceberg lettuce that when topped with Tabasco results in hot sauce in your nose somehow.); and an artichoke chicken. The lowlights for me were the cheesesteak and the pesto (two separate pies to be clear).
The restaurant atmosphere is nice. The service was solid, and they have happy hour on drinks daily from 4-7pm that includes some $3-$4 beer. Unfortunately, my Batch 19 was not party of the happy hour, but it still made me happy.
