  • I made an appointment, took off of work, drove downtown, paid to park downtown, sat and waited for a colorist, picked out a hair color and then the instructor comes over and tells me they can't color my hair because I used a semi permanent Garnier hair color box 5 months ago. Apparently it "doesn't work well with Aveda color". Are you kidding me? You couldn't have asked me about that when I made the appointment? I was so mad. So then, I called my friend who works at an Aveda salon and she has no idea what they were talking about. I called another Aveda salon in town; they have never heard of this problem the instructor was talking about either. What is with this place? If there is such an issue with box color (that apparently actual Aveda salons don't know about), they should have asked me about that when I made the appointment. This issue, coupled with the fact that everyone I encountered had an attitude will keep me from ever going back.
