If this place were $2 cheaper per plate for lunch or offered that much of a discount on some things given a certain day, my co-workers and I might consider frequenting Dandelion Market weekly or multiple times per week. The lunch menu is simple, but delicious and well presented. Over the course of 3 visits in parties of 4+, everyone has loved their food. From the simple touches of "Guinness spiced ketchup" to the super crispy fries, everything is fantastic food wise.
What is not fantastic is that the lunch plates costs $8-10, and will run you $12-15 after taxes and tip. It is definitely competitive in the uptown lunch space for quality of food within that price range, but at the same time, uptown Charlotte has many overpriced lunch eateries.
Using Restaurant.com, you can average down the bill for Dandelion to $8-10 after tax and tip, which makes it much more exciting to frequently visit. Limited menu, but I'd get it over and over... and over.
