  • Just recently moved into the M5V (aka King West) neighborhood and have been on an Indie Coffee crawl everyday to find out which I like the best. There are no shortage of options: Dark Horse, Jimmy's Coffee, Sense Appeal and the list continues... I haven't completed my crawl yet, but Sense Appeal is closer to the top of the list. What confuses me is why they need 3 people in the kitchen (seeing as almost everyone was there for coffee and not food) and only have 1 barrista manning both the cash and making coffee. What does this mean? Expect to wait. Service is slow. They charge $0.10 more for a Red Eye than Jimmy's Coffee.
