| - We came out to Duckworth's after bowling and drinks over on South Tryon. I'd been to the location in Huntersville and really enjoyed that one, so I was excited about trying the Park Road location. When we got there and turned in from the street, I was worried that parking would be an issue, because the lot looked really narrow. We all found spots no problem, and there was a decent amount of people inside. When we left, I noticed street parking that I'm sure alleviates some of the issues that may come with a small-ish parking lot. Next time I go, I'll check to see if there is an adjoining lot in the back. Anyway, we get inside and it's bright with lots of TVs and a really diverse crowd. The hostess seats us promptly and we start perusing the menu. My sister and I decided on the salmon salad, my date ordered the famous Bold n Gold wings (24 of them, yes we all judged him lol), and my brother in law ordered the burger. We didn't have drinks since we'd been drinking at the bowling alley, but I'll definitely review those the next time we stop in. The salmon salad was delish! Crispy outside and warm, flaky inside, with just the right amount of seasoning. My date smashed his wings and fries, and took the rest home to eat while watching the game the next day. My brother in law was thoroughly impressed with his burger too. All-in-all, it was a really great dining experience and we all agreed we'd totally go back. The bathrooms were clean enough, though I only ran in quickly to wash my hands before eating. Can't speak for the stalls. I'm deducting a star because I got sick once I got home. :/ It didn't feel like food poisoning, so I'm for sure going to check Duckworth's out again. Maybe next time to watch a game and have some drinks!!
