| - We went downtown on a beautiful Saturday .
Parking was hard to find and lots of signs said it was $8, but in fine print said that it was only an early bird special. We found a creepy maze parking lot 2 floors down. For $15 for the whole day.
The harbor front was pretty, but smelly. As we got closer to the CN tower, there were more tourist targeted businesses. There was an area with about 15 vendors, some food stands where you can drink out of a real fruit (watermelon, pineapple, or coconut)for $10, $5 sweet corns, ceviche, pizza, fresh pressed juice for $8, and art work! There were a lot of jewelry and clothing stands, sustainability being at the core of their products.
It was also really neat to see the literal man power going into lifting the foot bridge for a boat that was passing. One guy pulled the ropes and everything. We saw a wedding photo shoot happening! Guess this really is one of the best spots in Toronto.
I enjoyed getting a lemonade and just sitting by the sand strip. Great place to enjoy the weather even with lots of people around.
