  • First zoo ever in the states and i LOVED it. I came here with some kids though and my big BOO thought is... $11 for a stroller?! Are you kidding me, cleveland zoo? You know you can get away with that only because these kids do need a stroller after walking 30mins. I was at the Cleveland Zoo for about 2.5 hours and didn't even get to see the majority of it. It was a way bigger zoo than I expected and i was happy to see that CLE zoo takes care of their animals and gives plenty of space for them to roam around. Best parts of the zoo-- Bats: I don't know what they do with these bats but i went during the daytime and the bats were soooo energetic. probably something about the lighting that they set to make the bats think it's at night. I saw the bats fly and eat and pee... everything!!! best part of the zoo were teh bats. Rainforest: This is SO cool! I saw all these animals I never thought I would see at the zoo! Flamingos: the flamingos are outdoors and there's a huge pack of them. not just that, but they're within close distance. They are SO close taht if i tried hard enough (although i wouldn't!), I couldn't probably reach them.
