Kin Kin Bakery is part of a line of Chinese bun locations w/ bubble tea that opened up recently at the intersection with Bayview & John. It can be easy to miss if you're traveling north on Bayview but if you're traveling East on John, you'll see it on your left beside the Subway. It has a bright pink sign that shines!
This place is a solid Chinese bun place, it has a decent variety and the regular buns you would expect of a Chinese bakery. Their buns are good, but I would argue not as good as other locations. Some of their buns are a little too bread-y, and some a little dry. They have a good deal at the end of the day where their buns are discounted. Which if I recall right, it's 10 buns for $9 - no tax. Something along those lines.
The staff are friendly, a Cantonese run place as I could hear them talking to each other. I have yet to try their bubble tea or desserts. It was a male and female that were in the store the day that I was there, and they were very courteous and nice to everyone, no matter age or race coming in and they were happy to help explain their deals and types of buns they had to those that didn't know what they were!
Good location for those looking for a bun fix - as there are no others in the area to compete with!
