  • I used to absolutely dread having to shop in this store. The old ladies who worked there were just sour and unpleasant! I stopped by on a recent trip to Charlotte after having moved away and imagine my surprise upon finding energetic, friendly folks working there! Apparently, the store is UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!! It was like night and day! The physical building is still old, but they have a solid selection of materials. I wish every Hancock would drop the decor crap and focus instead on being a SEWING store, but that is just me. ;-)
