  • I decided to take my family to the Calgary Tower for breakfast as my son had never been. The views I must say are spectacular and if not for them this restaurant would get 1 star. After we were seated(on a couch like chair that had rips in it) it took probably 10 minutes for a waitress to come and see if we wanted anything to drink. My wife and I ordered coffee. The waitress brought our coffees and then took our food orders. .......20 minutes goes by with no offer to refill our empty coffee cups. Another 10 minutes go by and I flag down a hostess and ask for coffee as no one is paying attention to us. It took about 45 minutes for our food to show up and when it does the waitress walks away and we realize that none of us have any cutlery, again I have to flag someone down to let them know we can't eat without knives and forks. My breakfast came with toast and I discover I have no jams as none were offered. So again I have to literally have to wave my arms in order to ask for jam. Overall the service was abysmal, but the views are great.
