  • I came in here to look at selling some vintage playing cards still sealed and in new condition and my first impression even as I pull in the parking lot was bad. The parking situation is very tight and there are a lot of grumpy drivers and seedy people walking around. Once I approach the door and entered I was told that I could not have my bottle of water and that I could leave it at the front or throw it out. I chose to throw it out and then I kindly asked if they had a public restroom. I was told that they did not have a public restroom and I was shocked because the size of the store is very massive. I have a huge collection of cards at home that I'm considering selling so I asked to speak to the owner after I walked around for a little bit. I was told by the girl I was speaking to that the owners were not around and that a manager was around to speak to. When I asked to speak to the manager, the same girl told me that a manager is not around, but a supervisor is. I said that will do just fine and then the girl asked if I wanted her to call the supervisor for me, duh Lady of course I do what do you think I am here for. A supervisor came over and I asked them what we could do about buying some of these playing cards. She said that I would have to leave them behind, and the owners will inspect them on Monday, and then get back to me. I told her that I could not leave them behind because it is thousands of dollars in merchandise sealed together. Even leaving a sample would cause me to have to break apart a brand-new box, which I was not willing to do. I then asked if there was any other way to contact the owners for a brief conversation and that The amount of merchandise in question is not insignificant. The supervisor told me that it was not possible and that it would be a waste of their time. I sure you that I was definitely not trying to waste anybody's time and the store could have made approximately $10,000 off merchandise I was trying to wholesale to them. I decided based on principle to bring my business elsewhere and let somebody else purchase this also a lot from me. We could just call us karma for the store.
