  • I wanted so badly to love this place as I'm beyond over that gigantic green starry chain that over charges for subpar coffee drinks. I've been to GJC's twice in the past week. I've ordered the same thing both times. Visit one was awesome! My iced vanilla latte, 1/2 sweet tasted exactly as I had hoped for. Today was visit number 2 and my drink was just YUCK. Like burnt coffee almost. Makes me wonder if maybe it's the barista who messed it up rather than the actual espresso? Both days I asked for a choc chip cookie and both days they said "uhhhhhhh, no". So I can't review the food items yet but I can say that your drink may not be exactly as you hope. Their drive thru ordering system isn't working so you just pull up to the window and honk to get someone's attention. It's weird but wtfe. I'm going to give them place one more try and see if my theory is right.
