I am so happy to have found this place! It's right up the street and everyone that works there is so nice and helpful. I have a shih tzu and a maltese. I was concerned about them being in a cage while they waited for the other but I was happy to learn they were going to be kept together in a private pen. Their cuts were perfect and they came home soft and smelling great. I can't put them down. This is exactly what I had been looking for. A neighborhood groomer who will give them more personal attention than a Petsmart can. Another thing I liked was that they didn't try to push a bunch of retail products when I left. Blair did tell me they noticed my shih tzu was scratching a lot, and that I should go home and read the ingredients in her food. He told me to call him if I had any questions and that if I was interested, I could take a look at the food they sell and recommend down the road.
I also wanted to mention the reason I went there in the first place. I was looking on Yelp at their reviews and I liked their response to a not-so-great review. I understand that no business is going to have 100% of their customers walk away thrilled, but their response really impressed me. Having had my own bad experience at a nearby groomer where the owner basically called and threatened me after reading my review, I could tell that at least they were professional if nothing else. I am so happy I took the chance on Elite Grooming Boutique, Lilac and Blair just picked up a happy, repeat customer.
On a side note...if you live in the area and are even thinking of taking your pet next door to Noah's Ark, please read my review on them first. Do yourself a favor and take them here instead. You won't regret it.
Thank you from Alli and Chloe! :)
