I bought my wife a Vitamix about 4 years ago. She likes it, but folks, it's just a blender. It has a bigger motor than most, but it's just a blender. The thing hasn't broken down yet, but I expect it to any minute. I conclude this from the phenomenal amount of spam that's been filling my mailbox for the last 4 years from this Corp. I surely have no need for more than one blender, yet this greedy, pushy company continues to send me offers for a new blender, based on the fact that I have just purchased a blender. They simple MUST know something I don't about some internal flaw in this blender which will send me back to the blender market soon. Or they're shockingly stupid. Um...let's go with
"stupid". Because not only are they trying to sell me something they just sold me, they also think that the way into my heart is by drowning me in spam.
These e-mails have an "unsubscribe" link in them. Of course, it doesn't work. Only legitimate businesses honor unsubscribe requests. This company uses it to mine active e-mail addresses. I'm going to update from "stupid" to "criminally stupid."
