I am giving a single star simply for the way I was treated at this nail shop.
I went to get an acrylic fill Thursday February 19. I arrived about 9:20 and was the first person in the shop. I was told to wait by the woman who opened the store, she said someone would be arriving at 9:30. I did and had no problem with that. While I waited I selected a color...a woman named Thanh (Tammy) called me over. As she was doing my nails I was thinking I would change colors as many women do... After I washed I was summoned to pay, which I did and gave a tip as I normally do. I selected another color and asked Thanh if she would polish one nail with each color to compare...she instantly became irritated...I asked which did she like. She said she didn't know and it was obvious she was mad and did not care. I decided I didn't like either color and wanted to get another color...this woman looked at me like I was garbage! I asked her was she bothered that I wanted another colored, she ignored me, I asked again... She said nothing. I picked my final color...from that point until she was done she spoke loudly in their language until I left. I knew she was talking about me...in my face! A paying customer with tip! It is extremely rude these Vietnamese nail technicians speak the language in your presence...they know most of us (95%of their client base) cannot understand and often wonder are we being talked about. But in my particular case I knew it...I did not deserve that, I was not mean I was not unpleasant in any way. This woman acted as if she had to re-polish a whole hand instead of two fingers. Maybe that's why they insist you pay prior so they get their tip then treat you like crap. I will never go there again, I have told everyone I know about this experience.
