I am conflicted about this hotel
Pros:
-The front desk attendant and concierge were very helpful and very nice. They allowed us early check in which I was super surprised about and it was really nice to be able to settle in and refresh before going out and exploring the city.
- I loved the location- it is set away (North) from the downtown hustle and bustle- but conveniently located near subway access (museum station)- and the neighborhood it is located in is so nice to explore!
-comfort- the bed was super comfortable-- I could have stayed in that bed all vacation (but didn't!)
Cons:
- Parking is super expensive and I was disappointed that this wasn't included in the price of the room
- wifi- you have to sign up with their rewards program to sign into their wifi (just stop it already- this is annoying)
- the bathroom was grungy (maybe the price of early check in?!?) spots on the mirror, the grout was gross in the shower which sort of detracted from all the marble. I sacrificed my toes on the threshold multiple times in the less than 24 hours we were there because it was jacked-up about two inches from the floor- so be cautious!
- Price- it is expensive- over $400 in all for a night. So I don't really think the price was justified but I wouldn't say I regret my stay there either and I would even stay there again. I would give Park Hyatt 3.5 if I could-for stellar staff- comfort of bed and location-- but for the price you may be able to do better.
